No, I haven’t fallen off the edge of the world!

image Sorry about my distraction and my not picking up the keyboard to write about my new toy, but I have been distracted the past couple of weeks playing with my new toy and seeing how I can incorporate it into my business life. Yes, I have bought myself an iPad and since I justified the purchase with the thought that I needed it for a business project I was consulting on and that I needed to test if it would really work in that situation I went ahead and purchased one. So over the next couple of weeks I will be talking about different applications and add-ons that I am finding useful. I will discuss some of the ways that I have incorporated the iPad into my daily life and what I find that is good and what is not. So I am back and you will see more info coming out soon as I work back and forth between all of my devices.

In other news, Shane has turned his home PC into a Hackintosh and has fallen in love with the operating system. He plans on putting together the details of how it he did it when he starts his new blog. What makes it even more interesting to me is that he is using VMFusion to run Windows 7 along side OSX and they are running seamlessly. Very interesting... I am starting to consider this for my home machine to see how it will fare with this. I run so much Microsoft based software it would be interesting to be able to compare applications between the MAC version and the Microsoft world. I just might have to take the plunge.
