15 Minutes of Fame

Well, one of the big items floating though the blogosphere today was an posting in YouTube’s daily blog stating that you will now be able to produce up to 15 minute video that you will be able to post to YouTube. So for you guys that bumping up against the limit here is you go. Enjoy!

How did we survive without this? Most of you that had longer videos that exceeded the 10 minute limit, got around this limitation by splitting your video into multiple 10 minute increments. This was a little kludge, but it worked. Is an extra fifteen minutes really going to make that big a difference? For me it will with my creating some of my How to Videos. I have had some problems in the past trying to keep the images under 10 minutes but usually if I bounced into this limit I was only a little off of the mark. Having a little bit more of a buffer, even if it only five minutes, will be a blessing.

Love to hear your thoughts on this. Will this help you with your productions or do think that 15 minutes is just too long to watch a kitten playing with a ball of yarn?
