News about the Microsoft Office 2010 Release

The grand celebration for the release of Microsoft Office 2010 will be held in New York City on May 12th, coinciding with The release of SharePoint 2010 as well. This is the RTM (release to manufacturing) date, and this means that the new release Office 2010 version will be available to corporate open license, value and enterprise customers on that date. Retail and OEM versions will not be available until June. This is a product that I can’t wait to move into (with the RTM version that is). I really like the new “improved” interface and the consistency between the Office products now. More on this over the next couple of months you can be sure.
