New Version of Jing to download

Press Release

I am a big fan of TechSmith’s products but I especially am fond of their free Jing application. Of course I have gone the extra step and upgraded to Jing Pro to get some of the extra capabilities that it brings to the table but the free version is pretty useful on its own. Be sure to download install this new update to be able to take advantage of these new features.

Jing Pro

That's right, we did it again! We've updated Jing with 3 new features to make your experience even better. You won't be disappointed!
Take Control of Your Audio Jing arrow
If you use more than one audio device to record videos—like a headset and the internal microphone on your computer—Jing will now automatically ask you which device you'd like to use before recording. It's pretty easy. Just tell Jing what to do.
Share Via Secure FTP Jing arrow
Send your content directly to the sFTP site of your choosing without any manual steps in between. No more saving and uploading. Now, it's as simple as point and click!
You Will Be Remembered Jing arrow
Gone are the days of logging in every time you launch Jing. If you work with a proxy server, Jing now auto detects your proxy settings and supports authenticated proxy. Just set your preferences and you're ready to go!
How do you get the update? Next time you open up Jing it will prompt you to install the new version with these great new features! Not ready to update yet? No worries, you get the option to defer the update for 2 weeks.
